Start from inspiration

Build a campaign or document from an ad, post or style you like, made to fit your brand with your own facts.

What it does

Seen an ad or post you love? "Start from inspiration" works out what makes it work and builds a campaign (or a document) in that style for your brand. It borrows the idea, structure and feel, never the other brand's words, logo or fonts.

Step 1: Inspiration

In Campaigns, press "+ New campaign" and choose "Start from inspiration". Drop up to three ads, posts or screenshots, pick an image from your library, or choose one of the 42 style templates under "Style templates".

Step 2: What works

BrandOps9 shows what makes the inspiration work. Choose what to keep: Idea, Hook, Layout, Message flow, Call to action, Photo style, Colours and Fonts. If a style needs real facts, such as a customer quote, a number or a price, "Make this style work" asks you for them. It never makes up figures, quotes, prices or dates.

Step 3: Pick your campaign

Browse the five ideas with Previous and Next. Under "Guide the ideas" you can add a theme, the angle, a call to action or the language and press "Suggest again". Pick an idea, choose the channels and press "Create campaign". You can close the window: the status bar at the bottom shows the progress and has an "Open campaign" button. In the campaign you can ask for a rewrite ("Closer to the inspiration" or "More our brand") and approve every post at once with "Approve All".

Image-only posts

Switch on "Let the image do the talking" for posts where the image carries the message: the headline and call to action go on the image, and the post text is one short line plus your link.

Documents

In Collateral, press "+ New document" and choose "Start from inspiration". It uses the same three steps and creates a one-pager, a landing page or a checklist in the style you chose. The cover stays free of text.
