Use one social account for several brands
Publish more than one brand through the same LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or X account without connecting it again.
When to use it
If you run several brands and want them to post through the same account, for example your personal LinkedIn profile or one company page, you connect that account once and reuse it in your other brands.
Reuse an account
In the brand that should reuse the account, go to Setup & Support → Connections and press "Set up" on the platform. At the top of the first step, under "Use an account you already connected", pick the account from the list. Each entry says which account it is and which brand it was connected for, for example "LinkedIn company page: Acme (connected for Alpha)". Press "Use for this brand". There is nothing else to set up.
How a shared account looks
The platform card shows "Shared" with its status (Live, Dry run or Needs attention) and which brand it is shared from. Reconnecting, testing and switching between dry run and live publishing are done in the brand that connected the account, and apply to every brand that uses it.
Stop sharing or switch accounts
- Stop using this account for this brand: removes it from this brand only. The other brands keep publishing.
- Connect a separate account instead: replaces the shared account with one of this brand's own.
- If you remove the account in the brand that connected it, or delete that brand, the account moves to a brand that still uses it, so publishing does not stop.
Good to know
Only the brand owner's own connected accounts can be reused, and they only publish for that owner's brands. How many platforms you can connect still depends on your plan.
