What you get & what it costs

BrandOps9 posts text and the post image to your X account.

Unlike the others, X's API has paid tiers. The Free tier allows only a small number of posts per month; higher write volume needs X's Basic or Pro tier (paid). Pricing and limits are set by X and change over time, so check X's current developer pricing before you rely on high volume. Pick the tier that matches how often you'll post.

Before you start

• An X developer account with at least Basic API access (the Free tier allows only a few posts per month).
• An X app inside a Project.

Connect it, step by step

In BrandOps9 go to Setup → Connections → X, then:

• Open the X Developer Portal and create a Project, then an App inside it.
• Open the app's "User authentication settings" and turn on OAuth 2.0.
• Set app type "Web App" and permissions to "Read and write".
• Paste the BrandOps9 redirect URL into the Callback URI field.
• Copy the OAuth 2.0 Client ID and Client Secret into BrandOps9, then Connect.

Stay within the rules (avoid getting blocked)

• Never post identical, duplicate content; X blocks repeated identical posts. BrandOps9 tweaks each post per platform, which helps.
• Follow X's automation rules: no aggressive bulk posting, no spammy mentions or hashtags.
• Stay under your API tier's monthly post limit, or upgrade the tier. Exceeding it stops publishing until the window resets.
• If you connected X before image support, click Connect again to grant the media permission.
