Connect Facebook
Publish to your Facebook Page with image support: the Meta app steps, costs and app-review notes, and how to avoid Page penalties.

What you get & what it costs
BrandOps9 publishes posts (text + image) to a Facebook Page you administer. Posts go to a Page, not a personal profile.
Meta's API is free. Connecting as your own Page's admin needs no paid plan; Meta App Review is only required later if you want to post on behalf of other people's Pages.
Before you start
- A Facebook Page you administer.
- A Meta developer account (developers.facebook.com runs a quick one-time registration the first time).
- To test now: connect as the Page's own admin while the app is in Development mode; no App Review needed.
Connect it, step by step
In BrandOps9 go to Setup → Connections → Facebook, then:
- Open developers.facebook.com → "My Apps" and finish the one-time developer registration if prompted.
- Click "Create app", choose "Other" → app type "Business", name it and create it.
- Add the "Facebook Login for Business" product ("Set up").
- In Facebook Login for Business → Settings, paste the BrandOps9 redirect URL into "Valid OAuth Redirect URIs" and save.
- Open App settings → Basic, copy the App ID and App Secret into BrandOps9, then Connect and keep every Page permission checked.
Stay within the rules (avoid getting blocked)
- Follow Meta's Community Standards and avoid engagement-bait ("like & share to win"); Meta down-ranks and can restrict it.
- Don't post the exact same content repeatedly; vary it per post (BrandOps9's per-platform tweaking already does this).
- Only post images you have the rights to use.
- Keep image publishing working by making sure BrandOps9 is reachable at a public https address (your admin sets APP_BASE_URL).
