Brand facts: what BrandOps9 may state as true
Which numbers, offers, quotes and results posts may use, where they come from, and how to confirm or add your own.

The rule
BrandOps9 never makes up a fact. A post may only state a number, price, discount, date, customer name, quote or result when it is one of your usable Brand facts. Anything else is left out of the post.
When a fact is usable
A fact is usable in posts when all four of these are true:
- It is confirmed: proven on your website, or confirmed by your team.
- It is approved, and nobody removed it.
- It has a source: the page and sentence it came from, or your team's confirmation.
- It has not ended. An offer or event stops being used after its end date.
Where facts come from
- Your website: products and services BrandOps9 found on your site, with the page and sentence that prove them. They become usable once you have reviewed your brand identity.
- Your strategy: the proof points under "Why should people believe you?". They become usable once you confirm the strategy, because you are the source.
- Your documents: proof points in approved collateral, such as a customer story.
- You: anything you add yourself on the Brand facts page.
Where each fact comes from
Every fact on the Brand facts page says its source in plain words, for example "From your website" with the page (press "Show proof" to see the sentence), "From your strategy, confirmed by" a name, or "Added and confirmed by" a name and date. It also shows when it ends, or "No end date".
The three groups
- Used in posts: facts posts may state.
- Waiting for you: things BrandOps9 found but can't prove, so posts don't use them yet. Press "This is correct" if it is true, or "Remove" if it is not.
- Ended: facts whose end date has passed. Press "Change" next to the date to use one again.
Add a fact or offer
Open Setup & Support → Brand facts and press "Add a fact or offer". Five short steps follow: pick the kind (Fact, Offer, Customer quote, Number or result, Event or News), write it exactly as it may appear in a post, say whether it ends and on which day, say where it comes from ("We know this ourselves" or "It's on our website" with the page and sentence), then check it and press "Add fact". Offers and events always need an end date, so they are never posted after they end.
The page at a glance
Setup & Support → Brand facts opens with three numbers:
- Used in posts: facts every post may state.
- Waiting for you: facts BrandOps9 found but can't prove yet. Confirm or remove them.
- Unconfirmed numbers kept out: numbers the writer tried to use in the last 30 days that are not in your facts. Autopilot had those posts rewritten without them before saving.
Check them once a month
Offers end and numbers change. After you finish the eight setup steps, the Dashboard suggests "Check your brand facts". After that, "Are your facts still correct?" appears under Needs your attention once a month. Open Brand facts, fix what changed, and press "All still correct".
Change an end date
Press "Change" next to the end date of any fact, pick a new day and press "Save", or choose "No end date". An ended fact with a new date in the future is used in posts again.
How posts use them
- Every post BrandOps9 writes gets your usable facts as the only facts it may state.
- Template posts that need a fact, such as an offer banner, a customer quote card or a stat card, are only made when a matching fact exists. A discount template never runs without a real offer.
- Autopilot checks every number before a post is saved, also the words on the image. A number it can't trace to your Brand facts or your brand setup is sent back, and the post is rewritten without it. If that still fails, no post is made and Autopilot tries again later, so no post ever waits on a number check. To use a number, add it on the Brand facts page.
