How BrandOps9 works: getting started, content, publishing, credits, teams, approvals and security. In plain language.

Getting started

BrandOps9 is an AI marketing platform that turns your brand's website into a full content operation. It learns your brand, generates on-brand social posts and long-form documents, schedules and publishes them, and improves over time from real engagement, with a human approval step before anything goes live.

Paste your website URL. BrandOps9 reads your site and builds a brand profile plus a go-to-market strategy (your audience, offer, proof points and conversion goal). From there you can generate content straight away. Connecting your social accounts is optional and can come later.

A one-click express path: it creates a batch of draft posts across your channels in your brand voice and drops you on the Approve screen. Review, approve, and they're ready to schedule. It's a fast way to fill a week without building each post by hand.

No. You can generate, approve and organise content without connecting anything. Connect accounts when you want BrandOps9 to publish automatically; until then, scheduled posts become ready-to-post reminders you publish yourself.

Creating content

Every post is generated against your brand profile and go-to-market strategy, then automatically scored for brand fit and completeness. Anything that looks off is flagged before it reaches you, so what you review is already on-message.

Yes. BrandOps9 generates on-brand images for posts, carousels and document covers. You can also create alternate versions of a post, compare them, approve the best one and archive the rest.

Yes. Upload your own images (PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF) and they land in your media library, ready to drop into posts and documents.

Yes. The brand kit drops your logo, brand colours and an optional caption onto any image as a polished lower-third banner or a corner badge, in one click. It applies live in the editor so you see it immediately and save it as a new version, and it's fully revertible. Images you want to reuse live in your media library.

A campaign turns a topic into a structured plan (strategy first, then a coordinated set of posts) instead of one-off content. You can link collateral documents into a campaign so the generated posts cite your real proof points.

Documents & collateral

Ten long-form types: case study, one-pager, thought leadership, whitepaper, market analysis, buyer guide, checklist, ROI brief, objection brief and landing-page copy. Each is generated through an outline → draft → automated QA pipeline.

Yes. Documents open in a rich visual editor with inline images, and you can export to PDF or Word with formatting preserved, or share them via a public link.

Link a document into a campaign and the AI uses it as source material, so your social posts reference your actual case studies, stats and proof points rather than generic claims.

Publishing & scheduling

LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X. Connected accounts publish automatically through each platform's API at the scheduled time.

Connected accounts auto-publish at the scheduled time. Platforms you haven't connected are marked “Manual” in the planner: BrandOps9 schedules the post and emails you the ready-to-post content about 30 minutes before it's due. Connect the account any time to switch it to auto.

Drag any approved post onto the day you want, in the month or week calendar. Overdue posts surface in a reschedule rail so nothing slips through the cracks.

Autopilot

Autopilot has three independent switches. Auto-Generate writes fresh drafts when the queue runs low, Auto-Approve approves posts that clear your QA bar, and Auto-Schedule places approved posts into open slots. All three start on the first time you enable Autopilot, and you can change them afterward.

Only when both Auto-Approve and Auto-Schedule are enabled. Turn Auto-Approve off to review every draft yourself, or turn Auto-Schedule off to choose when approved posts enter the calendar. You can change each step or turn Autopilot off at any time.

Every autopilot post is clearly labelled: an “⚡ Auto-generated” or “⚡ Auto-approved” badge in your planner and a ⚡ marker on the calendar. The schedule also shows a live queue-coverage meter for each platform, so you can watch it fill your open slots in real time.

Auto-generated posts use credits like any other generation, and only when auto-generate is switched on. In Credits & usage every autopilot action is tagged “⚡ Autopilot” and broken out as its own spender, so you can see exactly what was spent automatically versus by you and your team.

Auto-generated means Autopilot wrote the post from scratch. It remains a draft when Auto-Approve is off. Auto-approved means Autopilot approved a draft because its final visual QA cleared your threshold. Auto-Schedule is a separate step that places any approved post into the calendar.

Plans, credits & pricing

BrandOps9 is a flat monthly plan plus credits for the heavy, variable work. Every paid plan includes unlimited written content (posts, documents, campaigns and strategy cost nothing to generate) plus a monthly credit allowance that covers AI images and visibility scans. You start on the Free plan with a one-time bundle of trial credits, no card required.

Starter (€29/mo) runs one brand with auto-publishing. Growth (€79/mo), the popular pick, adds the learning loop, AI-visibility monitoring and agent access for up to 3 brands. Scale (€199/mo) is built for teams and 10 brands with white-label sharing, and Agency (€449/mo) is unlimited brands at the best rate. The full comparison is in the table below.

On a paid plan: only AI images and AI-visibility scans. Writing is unlimited. On the Free plan everything draws from your trial credits, so you can try the whole product before upgrading. The per-action breakdown is in the table below.

No. Importing your real engagement and the weekly reflection on what worked are free. Credits only go to generation (images on paid plans; everything on Free).

Buy a top-up pack on the Credits page through secure Stripe checkout. Credits apply to your balance instantly and don't expire. BrandOps9 warns you before you hit zero, and Autopilot pauses and emails you rather than failing silently.

AI agents & the assistant

Yes. BrandOps9 is an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Open Setup → Agent access, paste your MCP endpoint URL into Claude or ChatGPT's connector settings, sign in and approve the scope you want. From then on you can run your marketing from a chat: “create a campaign for my spring launch and draft the LinkedIn posts”, and the agent does it in your workspace. Available on the Growth, Scale and Agency plans.

Whatever scope you grant: read your workspaces, content, credits, schedule and learning results; create a brand from a website URL; generate and revise posts, campaigns and documents as drafts; and, on the highest scope, approve content and schedule it to publish. It can never exceed your own role, every action is credit-metered and content-checked like in the app, and everything lands in the audit log.

Create a Personal Access Token on Setup → Agent access and pick its scope. The screen hands you a ready-to-run command with the token already filled in. Paste it in your terminal and the connection is live. Revoke any token from the same screen at any time.

Everything a connected agent can do, from inside the app. Ask Emma to create a campaign, draft or revise a post, generate a document, approve or schedule content, and she does the work: by default each action comes back as a one-click confirm button, so nothing runs until you say so. She also answers questions about your own workspace (credits, publishing status, why a post didn't go out) with the real numbers.

Yes. You choose the autonomy level in the chat window: Confirm everything (default), Auto-run drafts (reversible work like drafts and campaigns runs instantly; approving, scheduling and creating a brand still ask), or Full autonomy. Whatever you pick, every action still runs the same role, credit and content-safety checks. Autonomy removes the click, never the guardrails.

Agent access is scoped to your own workspaces only, honours your team role, and every call is written to the audit log. Connections use OAuth with explicit consent (or tokens you control), can be revoked instantly, and there's a platform-level kill switch. A read-only connection can never change anything.

Teams, roles & licensing

Owner does everything; Collaborators create; Content approvers approve, schedule and publish; Content consumers view and reuse approved content. The full breakdown is in the roles table below.

Everyone working on a brand draws from one shared pool: the workspace owner's credit balance. Teammates generate; the owner's balance is debited. There are no per-seat fees.

Yes. A single account can run multiple brands as separate workspaces, each with its own team, settings, schedule and content.

What each role can do

RoleWhat they can do
OwnerEverything: create, approve, schedule, publish, manage team & billing
CollaboratorCreate, edit and generate posts, collateral and campaigns. Cannot approve or schedule.
Content approverApprove/reject and schedule/publish. Cannot create or edit. Approval is final.
Content consumerView and reuse the brand's approved content. Read-only.

Approvals & review

Add anyone as a Content approver and they get a secure email link to the review portal. They can open it and see the content without an account, but to approve or request changes they sign in (or create an account in seconds) with the email the review was sent to. That way a forwarded link can't be used to approve on someone else's behalf. The link is token-scoped, rate-limited and valid for 30 days.

A Content approver's approval is final (the owner can still override), and it never publishes anything on its own; scheduling and publishing stay with the brand team.

One “Request approval now” button notifies everyone immediately, and an automatic daily digest emails approvers (and you) whenever posts or documents are waiting.

They can open the secure review link and see the content with no account, but approving or requesting changes requires signing in (or creating an account in seconds) with the email the review was sent to, so a forwarded link can't be used to act on their behalf. You can also share approved documents through a public portal with tracked views and downloads.

AI discovery & learning

An opt-in, machine-readable public brand hub (at /b/your-brand, plus llms.txt and schema.org JSON-LD) that AI answer engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini can read and cite when people ask about your space. The crawler policy explicitly welcomes those engines.

It imports real engagement from your connected platforms nightly, reflects weekly on what performed, and proposes prompt improvements you can apply in one click, each with a before/after diff and full rollback if you change your mind.

Yes. When accounts are connected, real metrics are imported and tied back to the exact posts that earned them, so your dashboard shows what's actually working.

Where a platform's API allows it, BrandOps9 pulls recent comments back into the Learning page so you can see what people are saying. Coverage is shown honestly per platform: Facebook is full, Instagram and LinkedIn Pages are partial, and where a platform offers no read API we say so rather than guess.

Yes. Turn on the shareable management report and you get a clean, on-brand, no-login link in your colours, font and logo, with the reporting period, headline engagement, a per-platform breakdown and your top posts. It's built from real metrics and you can revoke the link any time.

Trust & security

An optional periodic “workspace access review” (default every 6 months, configurable from 1 to 24) that reminds the owner to confirm who still has access to the brand. It's simple access hygiene for shared workspaces.

Access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, all outbound URL fetching is SSRF-guarded against internal and private addresses, and review links are token-scoped, rate-limited and expire after 30 days. Approving or requesting changes requires the reviewer to sign in as the intended approver, so a forwarded link can't be used to act. Nothing is ever published without a human approval step.
